LLANO A 4-year-old boy died and a 28-year-old Burnet woman is recovering from injuries after a truck rollover Feb. 18 on Texas 16 just north of the Llano city limits, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety official.

The rollover happened at 6:54 a.m. about one-third of a mile north of Llano County Road 226A, according to the DPS report.

Four-year-old Andrew Aull was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:31 a.m. by Llano County Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Era Marion. The driver of the 2004 Dodge Ram pickup, 28-year-old Bobbie Jo Aull of Burnet, was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge in Austin with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the DPS report, the vehicle was northbound on Texas 16 when it left the roadway and overturned.

Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt, the report stated.
